Rise early for a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. After receiving your trekking group assignment, you'll set off into the misty forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park—home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas.

Your gorilla trekking adventure can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family. Once located, you’ll spend an unforgettable one hour in their presence, observing these magnificent creatures as they feed, play, and interact in their natural environment.

After this life-changing experience, return to the lodge for a fresh lunch and a chance to rest briefly before beginning your cross-border journey to Kigali, Rwanda. The scenic drive takes you through rolling hills, rural villages, and lush countryside, offering a chance to reflect on your unique wildlife encounter.

Upon arrival in Kigali (approx. 4–5 hours depending on the border crossing), you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport for your onward journey.
